Pauline, a native of Boston, has been a beach resident in Florida for the past 22 years.  Having long been interested in art, she started serious studies with a local art class 8 years ago.  She is a member of local water color societies and artists' galleries in northeast Florida.  She is also a member of the international VSArts a group started by Jean Kennedy Smith in Washington D.C. through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

In 2004, Pauline started an art organization in Jacksonville, Florida to teach and share the art experience with the physically challenged of all ages.  Her expressionist works have been shown in both national and international exhibitions.  Even though Pauline is battling degenerative spine disease and a severe back injury for most of her adult life, she has chosen to make her disability a positive force in her life.  Like Frida Kahlo, Pauline shares her world of excitement, color, and joy resorting to painting her amazing works while lying on her back in bed.
